For more than 125 years, families have entrusted us with the privilege of honoring the lives of their departed loved ones. With serene grounds that offer a full array of memorial options and services, Jacksonville’s oldest and most prestigious operating cemetery is one of the South’s most beautiful.

With more than 70,000 lives honored across 167 acres, Evergreen is a place of rich history. Among those remembered here are senators, governors, war veterans and distinguished business and civic leaders. Most, however, are everyday citizens, known best by the friends and family who loved them in life. We are proud to memorialize all of these important people in the most caring and respectful way possible.

Reflecting the diversity of Northeast Florida, Evergreen is the resting place of many religious, ethnic and heritage groups. Some have specially designated acreage within the cemetery. The majority of the park is available to all, with adequate capacity for at least another century. A variety of pricing and memorialization options gives families the opportunity to create a special place of rest for their loved ones.
